a5c7b9f00b After losing her job, Jersey girl Stephanie Plum is broke. Needing a job she is told that her cousin, a bail bondsman, needs someone to help out in the office. But the only job openings he has are for skip tracers. She learns that Joe Morelli, a guy she knew intimately years ago, is one of the "skips". She eventually finds him but wasn't really prepared so he gets away. Another bounty hunter, Ranger, tries to teach her. Eventually she finds Morelli again, but he claims he is innocent of the crime he is accused of and he is trying to prove his innocence. Eventually Stephanie thinks he's telling the truth so she stakes out the person who can help him. She only finds herself in trouble and Morelli saves her. She tries to find someone who can prove his innocence, but the problem is that shortly after meeting with them they're killed or attacked.
Unemployed and newly-divorced Stephanie Plum lands a job at her cousin's bail-bond business, where her first assignment puts her on the trail of a wanted local cop from her romantic past.
They need to do other movies based on the books. I've read the whole series, the reviews don't get it right. This movie was a disappointment because in the books Stephanie is naturally good looking and normal sized, The cast was all wrong. When you read the books Stephanie is normal sized but naturally attractive, so yes they cast too small of a woman. However, they also missed the boat with the men. The actors they used weren't good looking and natural enough. The books and the story lines are better than the typical LMN movie, they just need to cast them right. Apparently whoever picked the actors and actress didn't read the novels, or can't comprehend well enough to picture characters when they do read them.
I am a big fan of Stephanie Plum novels and was really excited to see this movie. When i was there 20 min. in i was bored. All the funny parts were in the trailers. Kathrine Heigl couldn&#39;t keep a east coast accent. Half way through movie she stopped. It was not good.<br/><br/>The books are so good. The they completely ruined the sequence of the book. Ranger is not correct at all. From the first 10 min of the movie till the end i picked it apart. Even though i know the book is always better and i expected it to be different, this one was awful. It was a disaster. Even if it wasn&#39;t the same it was still boring. I could look past the book and enjoy it for a movie. If i did that i would have left.<br/><br/>I was very disappointed with this movie. They could have picked a better actress for Stephanie plum. I do like Kathrine Hiegl but not for this part. If they planned one making more they blew it.<br/><br/>It&#39;s not worth the money to see in theaters. wait for it to come out on DVD. If you are a fan of the books don&#39;t go see it. Obviously this producer and director did not read and understand the book and it&#39;s characters.
It will have you groaning between yawns.
